Advertising Helps A Lot
My sister has a bag fetish. She wants that the color of her bag always matches with her shirt, pants or shoe. She is into this color coordination thing. Once, she bought this really expensive bag from Gucci. She worked hard for that bag cause she badly want it to match her new shoe. I can even feel her glee twenty miles away when she was finally able to afford the bag. Well, Gucci sure did a good job in advertising the bag cause the next day I saw some five other girls carrying the same bag as my sister.
Advertising, hmmm…. I’ve heard this word a thousand times. This is how businesses get their money and their customers. I’ve read that advertising involves a lot of analysis. It is an analysis of the good points of what a business have to offer. As a business owner, you need to analyze your offerings carefully, bring to light all the good points and let the full glare of advertising shine upon them. A good advertising writer is like a sponge. He absorbs every idea within reach and if he does not use the ideas and suggestions the moment they come in, they are absorb in his mind to be later pulled out when required.
Most promotional materials out there are poorly visualized and as a result they are not able to market the products or services successfully. If a promotional material in a crowded marketplace lacks a strong motivational message it becomes a costly mistake to the business. But if you are able to put together a good advertisement you are way ahead of the game.
Advertising, for sure, is not a problem for Gucci or other big business in the market. Their name alone can market their products amidst the sea of retailers these days. My sister surely benefits from these advertisements. I can see her eyeing each poster printing she passes by just to make sure she doesn’t miss any new bags in the market.
